Grandma Sandie can come back anytime!

Sandie and the Babes. Are you stuck there Sandie?
Cali loves Delaney so much she gave her her first bugger.
We had an outing with the girls out to my parents house and on the way back Buster and I watched the girls in the car while Ryan and Sandie got us some coffee.
I have already taught them to hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil. They must be triplets because we didn't pose them like this.
We all had a great time with Sandie in town and I have to say that she is an amazing grandma. She wanted to help with everything and I'm pretty sure that she did just about every kind of house work there is, fed about 100 bottles or more, and snuggled the dickens out of my girls. What the best part was is that she is a fast learner. I think I only had to show her our routine once and showed her where everything was once as well. That is key when taking care of 3. Thanks Sandie, come back soon!

New Pics!

So here is another tummy time that Ryan did and took pictures of. They must not be doing much at tummy time if Ryan can pose them and take all these picturesFrom smallest to biggest

Cali had her first Dr. visit on Wednesday. She was 4lb15oz. Almost 5 lbs!
Here she is on her way to the Dr.'s. The pictures are out of order because the next one is of the Dr.'s office again.

Ryan's mom came to town and is temporarily taking over the live in grandma role (always gotta have one) and we were hanging out outside, so we brought the girls out in their play pin. Don't worry they were very shaded under the covered patio.

Today, Jocelyn and Delaney had their first eye exam and so far their eyes look perfect (Cali had her first one at the hospital already. We didn't take pictures there because it was actually very invasive and I couldn't even look myself. I clung to Ryan while my girls were crying these horrific cries. Ryan actually looked. Anyway we'll do it again in 2 weeks at around when they had their actual due date because we're crazy like that. It seems like every day we have something going on. I can't wait until that kind of stuff slows down and I can just take care of the girls without a daily apt.. It is so great to always have good help from Ryan, or my mom, or currently Ryan's mom who helped out a lot today and watched Cali while we got the eye exam and again tomorrow while Joc and Laney have their second Dr. apt.

So Sorry So Late.

This is Cali ready to leave the hospital and come home to be with us.Nap time. Cali's blanket is brown, Jocelyn's is green and Delaney's is blue.
Oh Jocelyn, you're still awake!
Buster has adjusted well to the girls, but I imagine that Cali was a bit of a shock. She loves being with them.
Three heads are better than one if you ask me.
It's hard to even get all three swings in the same shot.
We gave all the girls a bath tonight but for Cali it was her very first home bath. It's time to eat as you can see by her mouth looking for food.

So this is the first chance I've had today to blog and I know people are waiting on pictures. Sorry about the wait but I have to say that 3 babies are more difficult than 2. Not to mention my mom had to get some things done today and was gone from like 7am to around 2:30 or so and with Ryan's mom coming to visit tomorrow or today now, we had a lot to accomplish. Plus we had a nurse come to our house today to go over the girls development. She comes out every couple of months or so for the first 2 years to make sure they are on track, it's part of a program that all babies who stay in the NICU at the hospital for a week or more qualify for. Pretty cool huh? Anyhow... I'm off to bed!

And today we did...

Ryan has the early morning to himself with the girls as my mom and I are still asleep and he usually likes to pick out their outfits and do tummy time and when I'm lucky he'll even do a photo shoot which is where these first 4 pics are from.
Delaney's in purple Jocelyn's in blue

Buster's been eyeing the boppy's for a while and jumped at the chance to nap in this one when the girls where not using them.
So, like I said, Ryan will often dress the girls in the morning and today he put them in same type dresses that I was actually waiting on until all the girls where home so I had to bring Cali's to her today on our visit to the hospital. Which she is still at by the way. We are now thinking today (since it's past midnight) is the day. We will know when it happens and not any time before

While Ryan and I were at the hospital our neighbor Joanne (not pictured below) came over to see the girls so we missed her but later our family friends Steve and Terry (pictured below) came over to see the girls for the first time. The girls were on their best behavior.
Jocelyn below.

Delaney below
She hasn't pooped all day and is getting pretty tired of it in this photo.
Buster's looking for some kisses on the neck from me.
Which was kinda hard to do so she decided to give out some kisses of her own.
" Here Buster kiss my hand instead. Delaney doesn't want her toes kissed."

Today was very stimulating even for me. I wonder what it will be like having 3 at home. Can't wait to find out.

Aunt Jocelyn's request for pictures

Two sleeping beauties with Jocelyn in blue boppy and Delaney in the flowers

This looks like Ed Grimmley (I must say)!
This is after bath time and the girls are exhausted
Tummy time before we roll them over (they don't look too excited).
Tummy time after
And it's bed time. What a day we had. We'll dream of aunt Joc and sister Cali.

As you can see all they do is sleep still even though they they are 4 weeks old today. Can you believe it?

Delaney's big day! Not so much for Cali

Well the bad news is Cali isn't home yet and can't come home for at least 5 more days. The reason for this is she had what's called an Brady episode last night. What that means is her heart rate drops down too low and the Dr.'s won't let her come home until she goes 5 days without a Brady. This is common in little ones and they grow out of it quickly. She corrects her own heart beat within a matter of seconds and it may just be due to reflex or a bad sleep position, something like that but everyone would rather be safe then sorry and that includes me. Even though Ryan and I are Dying to have her home with us.
The good news is Delaney had a productive day. She had her first Dr. apt. and turned her head by herself several times during her tummy time!
This is the proud Papa after this mornings tummy time. (Delaney on your left, Jocelyn on your right)
She's all ready to go to the Docs. No this isn't a repeat of last week.
Look mom I grew a belly! She's a whopping 5lbs 2oz
Just waiting for the Doc to show up and tell me how perfect I am.
